Buckwheat with mushrooms and corn beef - military style
Ingredients:
mushrooms: 300g
buckwheat: 2 cups/500 ml
onion: 2
garlic: 5 cloves
carrots: 1
corn beef: 1 can, 300g
1 can of diced tomato
1 table spoon of tomato paste
chilli sauce: 1 teaspoon
oil
herbs of your choice
salt pepper
hot water/stock: 800ml
a little bit of chilli
Directions:
Cut the onion in semirings
Cut the garlic finely
Cut the mushrooms in cubes
grade the carrots
Saute onion
Add garlic, herbs, carrots, mushrooms, buckwheat, hot water/stock, salt/pepper
Cook on low heat (approximately 20 minutes) under the lid
Add corn beef 5 minutes before the end of cooking
Mix well
