Fried cabbage with mushrooms

Ingredients:
white cabbage: 1
mushrooms: 500-700 g
cauliflower: 500g
carrots: 2
onions: 3
vegetable oil
butter/ghee
sour cream
cayenne pepper: 1 pinch
salt, black & white pepper

Directions:
Cut the onion and mushrooms
Shred the cabbage
Add a couple of pinches of salt and crush the cabbage with your hands - the cabbage produces its own juice
Grate the carrot on a coarse grater

Fry Pan No 1
Saute the 1/2 of the onion
add butter
add and fry the mushrooms until fully cooked
add cayenne pepper
At the very end add salt and pepper to taste

Fry Pan No 2
Saute another 1/2 of the onion
add the cabbage, cauliflower and carrots
add butter
fry the cabbage and carrots stirring often until the cabbage is soft (~15-20 min)
add the previously fried onion and mushrooms to the stewed cabbage and mix
add sour cream
simmer, covered with a lid.
keep the cabbage under the lid for half an hour and serve.
It is equally tasty both hot and cold.
